Description

1967 Husqvarna Husky 250

This beautiful 1967 Husky 250 started out as a low hour very complete motocross motorcycle I purchased from the original owner. My intent when purchased was to get the tank restored and put it on the bike. Once that was done it made the rest of the bike look tired. So I went to work on it and eight months later here it is.

If you know these bikes you can spot just how correct this one is. Here are some of the most notable original factory correct parts on it.

*Husqvarna on Brake backing plates

*Acorn nut on steering stem

*Two piece Kickstand

*Steel seat pan

*Magura small throttle. levers. mounts and grips

*Long front fender mount

*Rocket engine side cases

*Original ""Steel Rear Fender""". very rare to find one that survived

*Inner rear fender with the mud wings on top

*Petcock

*Fork boot clamps. Fork tube flat top caps

Many new parts from Vintage Husky and others include. seat foam. seat cover. cables. grips. chain. air box cover. chain guard. Buchanon SS Spokes. Radaelli chrome steel rims. Barum period correct tires. all rubber parts. bearings. fork gators. h-bars. correct long front fender. etc etc etc.

Engine ran great but has sat a few years. the spark plug hole was stripped. rather then put a heli coil in I installed another correct slant head.  Engine is on its "original bore" has great compression. piston is a 69. 44 mahle. Clutch plates look new. flywheel/mag in good shape. No broken fins. single plug hole. shifts as it should. clutch works. Bing sidefloat carburetor. correct Bosch internal coil ignition.

Gas Tank restored to maticulous perfection to Husqvarna standards with correct decals.

I took my time on this and it turned out beautiful. it was built to show or reside in a museum. it will stand out with the best.

Please take a good look at the photo's. copy and paste to your desk top. I know you will like what you see.

I have the California pink slip for this bike.
