Description

SURVIVOR

I found this bike in a dry heated cellar, he last inspection sticker is from 1976 so it was parked for 36 years! This bike was one of the first 300 built! It has a lot of 47 characteristics common to the early 48's. I have never seen an engine number this low. Frame and Engine numbers match. The only thing new on the outside is the rubber, orn button, ight switch and recovered seat (with scuff guards). I have the original horn button & light switch. I left it just the way it came, n the outside. It’s beautiful. This bike still has the original cloth covered cables! The inside is new. The Engine and Tranny are rebuilt. The valves sit nice and high. Wheel & Neck Bearings are new. I stripped it to the frame(kept the paint) and cleaned out all the old grease and renewed all the parts that needed it. The 344 Carb is completely rebuilt as were all other moving parts on the inside. Even the seat post bushing is new! I have detailed notes, eceipts and pictures of the entire process. The original owner built this machine to ride. Note the red and green lights under the seat, he Hella Horns, he Flanders Bars, he early 40's spots are as scarce as hen’s teeth. The defender bumpers, he decorative vents on the side of the fender are an Indian Accessory! The Bags are in good shape and have the cutouts for the slippers, hat's Indian. I have put a couple thousand miles on it and it’s a joy to ride. Good Luck! Questions? (315)723-7206 $500 Non Refundable Deposit at end of auction by PayPal.

Look for 48 Barn Fresh Video on YouTube. It did not record very well with my I Phone and I could not figure out how to imbed it.
