US Military WWII 741 Indian Scout Motorcycle

Up for your consideration is a very rare WWII 741 Indian Scout motorcycle.  This Indian is equipped with a 30 cubic inch GDA V-twin engine.  Features a three speed hand-change gearbox transmission.  The bike measures 88" long by 33" wide by 40" tall and weighs approximately 460 pounds.  The 741's were widely used by allied force in WWII and were considered a solo motorcycle.  We are listing this motorcycle for a client and will try to describe it to the best of our ability. keep in mind we are not military vehicle experts. but we will try to answer any and all questions a promptly and as accurately possible.    This Scout appears to have been restored some time ago and may have some areas that were left original. either way is a look that is just amazing!!  The bike has been on display for several years and has not been started or driven.  The compression appears to be good along with the mechanical's that we have checked.  Tires will need replace as they do not hold air.  We feel that with a bit of knowledge and some effort this bike could be in running condition.  It will be sold with a clear Indiana title.  The only visible defects we noted were the tires being blown and the kick stand latch is either broken or not functioning correctly as it will not latch when the bike is sitting on the wheels.  Serial number on the block is GDA25984 which matches the title.  Please ask all questions via eBay.  The bike will be sold "as is" as a historical item and all sales are final.  We do not guarantee it to run or drive and do not assume any liability for use. misuse. or negligent operation of the motorcycle.  $1. 00 deposit is due within 24 hours of the close of the auction.  The balance must be payable by bank wire or Cashiers check / money order.  All Cashiers Checks or money order must be verifiable.  Full payment must be made within 5 days of the close of the auction.  Buyer is responsible of any and all shipping costs.  We try to accommodate the shipper of your choice and will make the motorcycle available for easy loading / pick up.   Secure storage is available for up to 30 days after the close of the auction.  Good luck and happy bidding!!!
