This rare old 1982 Kawasaki KZ1100-A2 Shaft drive muscle bike has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to machinery than ours. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES. As you can see this bike has got a few bits missing. a few bits damaged/broken. a few bits rusty/corroded. a few bits non standard & a few bits are very nice indeed. The wheels are straight. Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome. Instruments & switches look great. Fuel tank is squeaky clean inside. Carburetors are free sliding off the twist grip. The engine when we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it a few snorts of Ether actually fired. started & run but it is obvious the carbs need attention. The bike is currently unregistered. The registration process is reasonably uncomplicated.

WE HAVE GOT THE ORIGINAL AMERICAN CERTIFICATE OF TITLE

We will provide proof that VAT & Duty are paid on the NOVA system.

REGISTRATION

1. You need to get the bike MOT’d.

2. You need to prove the year of manufacture. The American Title will do this.

3. You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on the chassis number.

4. Send all this paper work to the DVLA. who will charge you ?55 for the 1st registration & the current fee for the road tax.

5. The DVLA will send you your age related registration number.
