Green 1998 Kawasaki GT550 (Z550) G9

I bought this bike in December rebuilt the carbs and fixed other little problems she had. I rode her for two months and she was a bit brilliant retro fun. started every time even when covered in ice with no problems at all.  I was riding one day. she lost power and stopped and wouldn't restart for 5 mins and did this again a few more times. thought it was a vacuum issue as the plugs were dry I changed everything in the fuel system other then the tank itself. seemed to solve the problem for a week. Then it happened again so looked at all the electrics both hot and cold no problems there. I've taken her to bits and the carb seems to be the problem possibly warn butterfly's a common fault.  I have just acquired a more interesting project and have lost interest in this poor old green machine so its time for her to move on. Shes too good to scrap or sell as parts and only needs a new set of carbs or taking to a carb doctor to bring her back to life.
