This is a first year 1972 Kawasaki H2 triple 750and is the most sought after collectible. This one could be the cornerstone of any Kawasaki collection. Up for auction is one of the nicest Kawasaki triples in existence. This is a matching numbers motorcycle with 6/72 build date.
It's show quality and the actual miles on this bike is 6347. The Candy Blue original match paintwork was done by J. P. Townsend who does paint work for Smith Brothers Harley Davidson. The paint is flawless with 20 coats of clear coat over the decals. The pictures do not do it justice. It rides and runs like new. The engine was built by Purple Haze racing and has very little miles over the past twenty years. Compression tests are between 140 psi and 145 psi on all cylinders and it runs fantastically. This Kawasaki looks like it was just made yesterday! It's gorgeous. Needless to say thousands and thousands have been spent here. This bike has all of the hard to get parts. 3 into 3 chrome exhausts with baffles snorkel and air box grab rail center stand and spark plug holder under the seat. All body panels are OEM metal. The electrical system is in proper working order. The headlight high & low beams high beam indicator instrument lights turn signals tail/stop light tachometer speedometer all work properly. If I was ever going to buy a Kawasaki H2 or if I was going to show a bike - this is the one! The engine is completely standard specs as it uses the stock airbox stock oil injector (no-premix) and standard exhaust mufflers. I have generally found that this combination works best for reliability and for originality sake.
This H2 has been fully road tested top to bottom and it has a title is in my name and is clear and transferable. The bike is registered as Non-Operation in California with no fees due. It features the factory warning stickers and those little touches like those hard to find Owner’s Manual and original TOOLKIT!
As it’s a collector vehicle the terms of sale are sold “as is” without any manufactures warranty. All shipping expenses and arrangements are up to the buyer and I will work with your shipper of this vehicle. I can deliver the bike to either the Port of San Francisco or Oakland at no cost after the sale.
