1980 KZ1000P -- CHiPs Patrol - Kawasaki Motorcycle
For sale is this 1980 KZ1000 Police Motorcycle CHiPs Patrol TV show replica. This bike was an originally a Massachusetts Police motorcycle that has been put it back in service as a great riding show bike. It now looks like an original California Highway Patrol Motor from the 80's. Watch heads turn and fill the shelves withtrophies with this great bike. It has a replica two-way radio that has been wired allowingyou to plug your own police scanner into the attached 1/8 plugso your scanner will play through the Motorola speaker and the volume control on the Motorola head will controlthe volume. I currently have CHiPs radio traffic going through the speaker via a MP3 Player ...people love it at shows!!! the bike comes with magnetic mounted CHP decals and a set of brand new 5" decals if you prefer to permanently affix them. The MC has working emergency red lights and siren with a metal radio trunk and low band two-way radio whip antenna.
Overall condition of the bike is good, t is a 1980 motorcycle, 'm not selling it as perfect. The bike only has 38K and does shift, rake and run good. The tires are good, o over all the bike is good but its a 1980! The paint is a very goodcondition, he windshield shows signs of its agealongwithvariousparts but nothing that I know of is bad. There is no rust other than minor rust on bolts and everything appears to work as it should. I can hear the Cam Chain at low ideal. I did upgrade the petcock and a new chain but have the originals that go with thepurchase. I have the ignition key and trunk keys but I never had the fork and gas key, ever needed it. In addition I have two shop manuals for the bike, ne isspecificfor the police model bike. I HAVE THE TITLE IN HAND - The bike is being sold in Massachusetts and I willassistwith in reason with what ever method the buyer chooses to get the bike to them. I'm not a dealer so I'm not sure howdeliveryof a motorcycle would work but as I said if you do I'm willing to work with you or it can be picked up locally.
