I will add much better pictures in a while for sure as well as being honest as I can as always ive simply got too many of these bikes like this one and some older gpz,kz550 and need room,and tons of parts for them,i was an avid collector of anything 89 90 zx 7 I could find
will add info in a while bike has some issues but then again its 25 years old and had it started up this morning,what im waiting on is to get phone charged up so I can take some better pictures and a video so prospective buyers can hear it,by texting me at 361-701-9376,,
the spot under bike is not a leak its my water hose right behing where bike was parked I believe,but I will run it more to make double sure
would prefer bank draft,cash in person,or cashiers check for bike,
one thing I do remember doing is adding a switch to kick on fan when engine heats up because there is a sensor that is supposed to but im not sure its working,ive done this on 3 of my zx7, ,the key switch is the other im thinking is bad because when battery is hooked up, he headlights wont go off until I unhook battery,ive never seen this happen on any other of the 7 zx7s I have,so im thinking the key switch is bad,all blikers still work right as well,carbs may need to be recleaned and set to your preferences,and im going to leave the 500 dollar hickel plated d&d exhaust on the bike,
when bike starts,there is a ticking that lasts for about a minute until it warms u, im thinking one of the little brass washer gaskets where header goes into head fell out during header being put on after I pulled the stock pipe off of bike,,
tires both are maxxus tires and rear is a 200-55-17 very wide looking,battery was damaged when pulling it out of my other green 90 to fire up this bike one terminal broke off and not sure that its repairable,but will look into it,i also have a painted race tail I can let go with bike if it reaches a better price than starting price,it was a 400 dollar painted tail,and can be mounted to bike for street use because rear area is cut out for tail light,bike has a new petcock kit put in as well because of a drip it had,

bike has a solo seat cover on it too,there is a small crack on top center which was common in most of these that were ridden also,but no big deal,bike is repainted to be different,base coat clear coat,no buffing has ever been done on it,
bike has set for about 3 years and just decided to pull it out add gas and a battery from my green bike and start it up,to me it looks like the needles in carbs are making the fuel drip or possibly the float height,,
engine is a very good motor,the last thing I remember doing was taking it in to a dealer for new valve seals because when I did run it back then it was blowing smoke out of the header and valve seals were bad and were replaced,and there is a possibility some oil hasn't burned out of pipe yet,while in the shop they told me change rings while it was there,and I let them and was told the smoke will happen till its burned out of exhaust till its clean, nd lower frame area had a mounting tab that cracked off but is still with lower motor bolt,i didn't notice anything different while riding it to take home,text me for video 361-701-9376 if needed,bike is for sale down here as well so if you want it bid on it,and feel free to ask any questions,thanks
I farm too much to spend a lot of time with the 9 bikes ive got and some got to go,and im going to keep 3-4 of them though tro store with the others at the farm
