Description

Up for auction is my GPZ1100. Right the story behind this bike is. I bought this a few months ago off a garage round the corner who was doing some work on my car. e has had the bike since 1996 and never had it on the road. It was covered up in the corner of his workshop. I saw the back end of it and having had a number of GPZ's in my time I asked him about it. He bought it off his mate but not having a license at the time it stood in his garage. ears later he passed his test and then went to put it on the road. hats were he had issues. He couldn't get it to run properly at all. osing patience it ended up in the back of his workshop covered up. This is were I come in. ot wanting to see it unused and I like a challenge. bought it. I always knew that when i got it sorted I would sell it. want a ZRX1100. Right here we go. I first cleaned it throughly. he frame is in fantastic condition and it's completely standard bar the motad neta pipe. hich is in amazing condition too. I then drained the tank. leaned out all the fuel lines and did a full service. ir filter oil filter oil and plugs. Put a brand new battery on it and got it started. As the guy stated it ran like a bag of spanners. fter a bit of digging I noticed a vacum pipe split. lus the fuel tap was blocked slightly. I sorted these out and now it runs nice. ould do with a good run and it setting up by someone who knows fuel injection. I don't. The body work isn't great but it doesn't stop you using it. ould be a rolling riding resto££ Believe me it's worth doing as the rest of the bike is in great condition. It's not been cut. hopped or messed with. Comes with the fuel injection in tact and workingTook it for an MOT and failed on front brakes and fork seals. These have all been replaced and it passed. All the anti dive works. f I was keeping it I would rebuild the callipers. ould be 100% then. I only put pads in it. I would advise anyone to come and look at it before bidding. f you don't then it's down to you at then end£Any inspection welcome no test rides unless fully comp insured etc etc. I will try to answer any questionsSo to re-cap.
