This 1970 Kawasaki F3 Bushwacker 175cc two stroke was recently discovered in a retired Honda and Kawasaki dealers storage attic. These were a very rare bike with a limited production run from 1968 through 1970 and you simply do not see these offered for sale in this original condition very often. Amazingly this bike still retains its original Ohtsu tires which appear to have never been removed from the rims, till holds air, nd accurately reflects the mileage of 6,826 which are assumed to be original. The bike is virtually unmolested and still retains most if not all of its factory installed components. The bike is currently not in running condition however it has extremely good compression, as spark to the plug, nd the carburetor slide is not stuck. A 12 volt battery was connected to test the electrical components (including the ignition spark) and all lights, orn, nd even the electric starter all function as new. The F3 has sit for many many years and the inside of the fuel tank is rusty however you can easily scrape the interior surface with a screwdriver and it seems to flake right off. A proper acid bath should take care of the inside of the tank as the bottom appears to be rock solid when pressed on with a lot of pressure in multiple areas. The chrome on about all of the surfaces have some rust and pitting however the rims, eadlight ring, ir cleaner covers and a few of the smaller chrome components are exceptional. The fenders are stainless steel and are in remarkable condition needing only polished and the underside cleaned. Muffler is rock solid on the bottom. No fins are broken off the cylinder or the cylinder head and the engine cases and covers are all in excellent condition with a New Old Stock rh carburetor cover installed. A New Old Stock ignition switch with three corresponding keys was installed to check the electricals as there was no ignition key in the original switch. A barrage of NOS (New Old Stock) factory Kawasaki OEM no longer available parts are included with this Bushwacker to certainly get a restoration project well underway should you elect to restore this machine to pristine condition even though it would be a great bike to leave in its unmolested survivor condition with a few additional parts installed here and there. The parts are as follows:
1. Speedometer with (factory applied) break in sticker 2. (2) Speedometer Cables 3. Inner Speedometer Cable 4. Front Brake Cable w/ Integrated Stop Light Switch 5. Clutch Cable 6. Throttle / Oil Injection Cable 7. Fiber Clutch Plate Set 8. Right Hand Bushwacker Side Cover Emblem 9. Left Hand Bushwacker Side Cover Emblem 10. Right Hand Chain Adjuster 11. Left Hand Chain Adjuster 12. Handlebar Holder Clamp 13. Rear Brake Pedal 14. Left Hand Lever Holder Top 15. (2) Left Hand Lever Holder Bottoms 16. Complete Throttle/Switch/Lever Assembly w/ Grip 17. Left Hand Handlebar Grip 18. (2) Cable Adjusters & Thumb Nuts 19. Tail Light to Fender Cushion 20. Rear Fender 21. (2) Fuel Petcock Strainers 22. Oil Tank Filler Cap 23. Battery Holder Bracket 24. Handlebar Choke Lever Assembly 25. Voltage Regulator (awesome plating!) 26. Headlight 27. Positive Battery Cable 28. Negative Battery Cable 29. Battery Fuse Assembly 30. Wiring Harness 31. Dry/Sealed Battery 12N12-3B (FB Japanese) A factory Kawasaki parts catalog showing every part and its corresponding part number plus placement on the bike with detailed diagrams and a factory Kawasaki Service manual is included as well. This bike has an Illinois title however one of the owners endorsed it incorrectly and the local Missouri license bureau indicates it cannot be used. A Missouri Form 1957 Bill of Sale will be provided to the purchaser. An original NOS owners manual is included as well. This Alumitone Silver Bushwacker is truly a rare vintage Kawasaki and would be a welcome addition to any vintage Japanese motorcycle collector or aficionado desiring a truly unmolested original bike. The seat on this bike is virtually mint as you can clearly see in the images presented plus it still has evidence of the factory shipping plastic in places tucked under the underside of the cover! The reserve price is set very low and the inclusive New Old Stock parts are probably worth more than the reserve. Please feel free to message with any and all questions you may have. Thank you and good luck. Also published at eBay.com
