Kawasaki KDX 250 1979/80 Twinshock

A sympathetic restoration was carried out a number of years ago and the bike has been lying in the back of the garage ever since so I have decided someone else may as well have the use of it.   When I purchased the bike it was running and riding in good condition being a very low milage American bike.   I decided to strip and restore the bike one winter.   Frame was powder coated in gloss black.   Forks stripped. checked painted and re-assembled.   Rear shocks stripped. painted and springs powder coated [original Kawasaki remote reservoir shocks with original stickers].   Swinging arm. wheels. all original Kawasaki nuts and bolts removed cleaned and refitted.   Full set of new plastics fitted.   New seat foam and cover fitted.   Although the bike is fitted with lights they are not working at present.   The bike comes with Customs and Excise import papers and can be easily registered or used off road as is.   Overall the bike is in very nice condition but retaining a lot of its originality. telephone 07973905978.
