1976 KAWASAKI KZ900 LTD 1 OF 5000 WOLF IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING AKA Z1

offered today for sale is a beautiful 1976 Kawasaki KZ Ltd it was purchased from the original owner and has full documentation including a letter from Kawasaki congratulating him on 1 of 5. 00 limited production motorcycles. Pretty much from the first months of purchase this bike was set up with a Vetter faring Honda line vintage hard bags and a queen backrest. Has full stereo including am/fm stereo. CD. front and rear speakers.   This bike was painted approx. 2-3 years ago. (the original owner had the common sense and did not weld Vetter faring on the front end it is SEMI easily unbolted. )  

 Purchasing a bike that has been set up as a cruiser usually means to me that it has not been brought down to the local race track or been raced light to light. This low mileage Beauty will last a lifetime. It has been well taken care of and ridden easy.

It seems to me that having one of 5. 00 bikes of the LTD class should make this bike more collectable than a Z1 or a regular KZ900 that you can find at your local grocery parking lot. as they have been massed produced for many years. See all the KZ 900 LTD specs below it makes this a much better bike than your average KZ.

 1976 Kawasaki KZ900 LTD. a one-year-only version of the KZ900.  the LTD was more of a cruiser than the standard KZ900. and it featured a Jardine four-into-two exhaust. speacial paint and a  more deeply countoured seat. It also had  a second disc brake on the front. and the brake calipers were mounted behind the lower fork legs instead of in front as they were on the standard KZ900. The frame also received additional reinforcing. which aided in handling.
