Winter project Kawasaki GPZ1100 Racing bodywork +V5 frame/eng 2nd bike not Z1000

GPZ1100A1 / ZX1100A1 1983.  

Fantastic winter project

32. 41 miles. V5 in my name - owned by me for nearly 20 years. This bike never let me down - smooth carb conversion eliminates any fuel injection problems.

Ran well when pushed into the garage around 5 years ago. When last running oil weeping from cam end cap rubber. valves possibly need regapping. Spline on rear sets needs repairing (cracked casting). Excellent customised seat by 'Bum Wraps' needs mounting fittings attached. Chain needs splitting due to braced swinging arm fitted. After market adjustable monoshok. Rare twin headlight half fairing (aftermarket). lens needs glueing in place. Paint bubbling on tank due to slow petrol weep from petrol cap mounting screw. Front brakes need bleeding and setting up due to front forks and brakes being replaced  couple of years ago and not finished setting up. Frame was shot blasted and powder coating around 15 years ago and is still in excellent condition. Engine temp gauge oil cap. Needs a little TLC more than anything.

Included in the sale are the frame. engine and V5 documents in my name for another GPZ1100 ZX1100A1. purchased for a project but never used - completely dismantled many years ago due to storage limitations.

The German racing fairing is an original racing fairing from the 80's - all parts professionally painted in red / white (I was going to respray black. would look great in my opinion. great lines - rare as rocking horse poo).   1 indicator broken in transit. Pic of bike with fairing fitted is for illustatration purposes only - the bike is not included in the sale. only the bodykit which can be seen in other photos (this is how the racing body kit looked on the bike before I bought it).

All parts are original parts which means some are up to 30 years old now. All parts are used unless stated. Most parts in very good - excellent condition. Sale due to having 2 beautiful daughters. aged 2 & 4 and a ridiculously time consuming job. I have been meaning to get in the garage for a couple of years now and haven't and it is probably gonna be 10 years or so before I do so the time has come to let someone else have the fun. I could list items individually but again just do not have the time so being sold as one fantastic winter project.
