1969 Kawasaki H1 500

This auction is for the ever so hard to find 1969 Kawasaki H1 500 Vin is KAF 02402. and the Motor (matching) is KAE 02417.   This Bike was purchased new and has had one owner its entire life. until recently.   This bike was running when parked in the barn in 1974. Owner was disgusted with the Kawasaki dealership and parked it. As you can see it has taken some punishment in that old barn and it is missing a few parts.   I will describe this bike to the best of my ability and on what I was told by the original owner. The bike does come with the title and key. I have not turned a single wrench on this bike as I will leave it up to the new owner.

-Front Wheel is Takasago 185BX19 W9D and will need rechromed. Brakes are loose and cams/levers move when pushed by hand. as you can see the spokes are toast as is the tire.   -Rear Wheel is Takasago 215BX18 W9A and is the same shape as the front.   Rear cable moves in the grey housing.   -Fuel Tank is very solid. it has. as you can see been rattle canned a pretty race blue. UGH! There is however. no dents or bondo under the pretty blue. The seams are nice and straight a bit of surface rust on them and the underneath. The scallops on each side have great lines without and dings in their lines. Inside of the tank shines and is beautiful with no rust  -Seat is nice/solid from what I can see. seat foam is still soft to sit. and push seat cover does have a few rips.   -Gauges / Clocks are nice tachometer is the nicer of the 2 with good color. the speedometer is a bit faded and spotted at the top as well as ding in the chrome trim ring.   -Fenders  are both very nice and the stainless has held up well. both are showing no dents and have rubbed up nice in the areas I rubbed on them.   -Headlamp / Tail Lamp are both nice without holes or cracks.  Chrome has surface rust on the chrome areas but no dings. dents or cracks. Jewel is still there in nice shape with good red color.   -Pipes  They are fitted with the original baffles.  the chrome has started to flake and there are a few dings in the back tips and a couple dents on the bottom side of the right outside pipe. Motor- the motor does spin over but I have only just bumped in gear as to not damage anything. The kicker boss will need replaced as it seems to fall when pulled out (not sure if this is the boss or the kicker shaft) There are no broken fins on the cylinders or heads. and. I assume they are bridgeport as stock. bike is fitted with the window carburetors as well.   -Handlebars as you can see they are bent. clutch lever is broke but perch is not. brake perch is broke. missing thumb lever on the bottom side of the left switch gear. throttle/choke housing is in nice shope and does move. up until you get the slop out of the cable. I do believe the slides are stuck in the carbs but I did not put to much effort in turning.   -Missing Parts items that I know are missing are the tool kit. left side cover. air box/boot. left ignition cover. I may have overlooked something so if if you dont see it in the picture its missing. Bike is sold as is with no warranty.

This auction is for pick up only. HOWEVER. I will gladly assist your shipper in loading on his truck or trailer. This auction is also open to any and all triple fans WORLD WIDE. But you are responsible for your own shipping arrangements.  Full Payment due within 3 days of auction end. unless approved by me. and  A $2000. 00 deposit at the end of the auction. Bike will be paid for with cleared funds before it leaves my house!
