1968 Penton Six Days 125 ISDT Vintage KTM Enduro

 This auction is for a very rare. late 1968 Penton 125 Steel Tanker. V984. Non Hi-Breather frame. short seat. chrome spokes.  It's a totally original survivor. cast iron barrel early Penton. It's ugly but runs fantastic. I've recently woken it up from a very long nap and put 10+ miles on it this past week. The bike starts usually on the first kick hot or cold. Sounds amazing with the factory stinger pipe. It really cracks when you get on it.   Idles fine. crank seals fine. no lean spots. Top end nice and tight with no piston slap. No crank vibrations. It's really amazing how well it runs. I can't imagine a brand new '68 Penton running better and that's no exaggeration . Brakes work fine. shifts fine with no clutch slip. It had been in the raters of a barn for many years. Tank is pretty decent inside for an old steel tank. This bike is pretty cool just as it is. There are very few survivor and very ride-able early Pentons left.   This bike would be a fairly easy restore as it's mechanically tight and all important components are intact such as Magura Six Day levers and original gray covers. factory center stand. nbsp; original bars straight.
