1979 MONTESA COTA 247 RESTORED

1979 Montesa Cota 247. striped down? completely and rebuilt. frame blasted and powder coated. new S3 foot pegs fitted. front forks rebuilt with new oil and seals. new? rental bars and levers fitted. rear wheel rebuilt with new spoke set and wheel bearings. new mitchelin x11 front and rear tyres. new chain and? sprocket set fitted. new domino slow throttle and grips fitted. new seat fitted to newly painted tank/seat unit with gold leaf coach lines done. looks amazing. new front and rear mudguards fitted. the engine has been checked over and fully serviced with new points. condenser. plug. filter and oils. starts first kick most times. The bike has ? V5 doc and is registered. the frame and engine numbers also match. Overall this bike looks like new and is probably better? finished than when it left the factory! Would suit a collector or if you were brave enough you could use it in the twinshock trials rounds! Reason for sale is looking for new project to restore like a Bultaco 350.
