1954 Moto Guzzi Airone 250 Sport

- This Airone Sport was manufactured in November 1954 and first licensed in Italy in 1955. According to the registration book. it was first registered in Genoa with the plate GE-38843. before being licensed slightly further down the west coast in the province of La Spezia in July 1969 with the plate SP-29220. - In March 2007 it was purchased by an American Gentleman for use at his home near Lake Garda. as he had owned one during his time at university. He promptly commissioned its restoration by a company in Ceva. Italy. and we were informed that the engine was rebuilt during the restoration. - Having been used less than intended the Gentleman contacted us and we purchased it from him. - When we rode it a few miles to take the photographs it performed very well with all of the gears working correctly.
