Moto Guzzi 1200 Sport ?3000

Relisted due to timewaster Moto Guzzi 1200 Sport. 2007. Black. 27845 miles. MOT to 11 July 2015. Heated 2 stage grips. Recent Michelin Pilot tyres. New MotoBatt high capacity battery ( yellow one). 25mm bar risers. Just replaced - Air filter - Oil Filter + Motul Full Synthetic 10/60 Oil & Rear brake pads. I bought bike in a slightly damaged condition at the end of May 2014. It was listed as a cat C but only reason it was at this category was the CARC drive housing had a scrape which pushed it over the cost threashold from a cat D to a cat C. I replaced mirror. brake lever tip. footrest and the scape on the engine bar was filled with weld and filed and polished back to original shape. This is the 2 valve per cylinder engine that has decent low down torque unlike the 4 valve later engines and a valve train that does not wear like the roller followers fitted to the later 4 valve engines. There is still a scrape on the CARC final drive housing but this is cosmetic and may be possible to polish out. Since covered nearly 1000 miles since the MOT in July at 26909 miles which it passed with no advisories. Bar risers give much better riding position than standard and heated grips are nice and warm. Yes it has a decent milage and a couple of scratches so price reflects this. If your within 150 miles of Birmingham I could meet halfway if you want a look as it still taxed till the end of Dec. May be able to deliver if you pay my train fare. It was listed a couple of weeks ago but the buyer who bombarded me with emails now seems to changed their mind and won't answer emails or calls so now relisted. No test rides without cash in hand and proof of insurance. Thanks for looking
