NORTON MODEL 50

Here we have a very nice 1958 Norton Model 50 350cc last of the pre featherbed frames. It is in good overall condition and has had many new parts fitted including Avon Speedmaster tyres tubes and rimtapes. brake linings. fork seals. gel battery. complete rewire. original pattern seat by RK Leighton. Amal Concentric carb (original Monobloc is included but requires complete refurb).

The centre stand and rear footrests are also included but will need mounting bolts etc. V5 in my name and some old MOTs and receipts etc are also present. The frame and engine numbers are matching and correct and the registration is age related.

I have only ridden the bike for a few miles but can report that the engine starts and runs well with no smoke or rattles and the gears select perfectly. The clutch however is rather heavy in operation and would benefit from some attention.

The bike is more than good enough to be used as it is or could easily be improved further if desired.
