This bike runs great and is in very nice condition! It remains exactly how it was prepared and displayed as the only road bike, long side other race bikes, t the 1971 Los Angeles Automobile and Motorcycle show. The original owner fell in love with it at first sight and within 24 hours of seeing it at the show, e contacted the dealer and purchased it. After he had to sadly part from the bike, became its second owner. Since then, have put less than 300 miles on it and made sure to start it regularly. The odometer is broken, ut the original owner estimates the mileage to be between 3 and 4,000 miles. Some visible flaws are minor chaffing of the paint where the tool compartment cover fits, inor dings on the mufflers, nd the shock boots are splitting.According to the original owner, he upswept exhaust pipes and the air cooled double leading edge front brake hub (as on the Commando) were added for the Los Angeles show. The candy apple green custom paint was added to give it some extra pizzazz on the show stand at the Los Angeles show.Some G15CS's were badged as Nortons while others were badged as Matchless.
