Since the explosion of the adventure bike market in the UK and across Europe. there has been many options to choose from. from virtually all of the big bike manufacturers. Most get judged against the legendary BMW GS range with varying degrees of popularity. Although the BMW was the first to the market with any great success. it has been seen by a lot of riders and buyers to have lost its way now with BMW resting on their laurels and letting the quality of finish drop and especially when it comes to reliability. Honda's serious entry to the market came with the advent of the VFR1200 range when they took the VFR1200 power house and put it neatly into the VFR1200X Crosstourer. It was an immediate success story with the only pit fall for Honda being the lack of supply to meet the initial demand. This superb value for money example has indeed been used. albeit for the streets of the UK and going nowhere near any kind of off-road terrain like it could. It features ABS brakes and traction control as standard. This particular one also has a whole host of extras installed from the genuine Honda centre-stand to the heated handle-bar grips. It has several after-market Givi products on it. From the Givi Top-Box carrier that it has to the screen being a Givi tall. touring one. it has a set of bike specific. Givi engine bars with Givi spots lights too. The owner has had an R&G. rear-wheel hugger fitted to help keep the back-end at its best as well. The paint-work has been kept at its best too with the installation from new of a Honda twin-set tank and fuel filler cap protector. Naturally demonstration rides are welcome and indeed encouraged too so you can see what all the fuss has all been about. What is also actively encouraged is trade-ins too as we do like to keep stock coming through; regardless of make. model. age. condition or mileage we really do take on anything.
