Matchless 250 CSR 1967

I have owned this bike for 16 years and still haven't finished it. The bike is 95% complete. The chain guard is missing. there is no ignition switch. battery or clamp. I built this bike up around 15 years ago so there maybe other small parts missing but I can't remember. I would advise the buyer to dismantle it again and check it over. The paintwork was all done with aerosols so would benefit from a proper paint job. The chrome on the wheel rims was shot so I cleaned all the rust off and just painted them. The chrome on the tank is all there but has slight pitting and swirl marks. Unfortunately I have not got a new v5c logbook. this will need to be applied for. but I do have the original style logbook. The engine number on that states 15133 and the engine states 15113 whether it is a mistake or it has had a replacement engine with a very close number I don't' know. There is also an issue with the forks. I had to fit bolts through the stops to stop them hitting the tank and also there is a slight crack in the top of one fork leg. The seat has had a few repairs and all the cables. throttle clutch and speedo cable(missing) will need replacing. All the electricals will need sorting out. none of the lights are working and it needs the ignition switch.  I have fitted a temporary ignition switch (wired straight to the coil) to get the bike running again. The engine sounds ok and there is no visual smoke although will benefit from a bit tune up and sorting. All the gears seem to work fine although the clutch is sticky due to the cable I think.  I have tried to give an honest view of the bike but it's a worthwhile project with all the cleaning up done.  Everyone's opinion is different so please feel free to come and view the bike.
