Here’s a solid. rebuilt. and beautiful example of a classic Penton Frame Serial: #30161575 – which puts production of this bike at January of 1973 Engine is a 6 speed “B”. Also. the Magneto side cover reads 7339302 Sachs 125/1 6B This bike runs. idles. and shifts nicely. Engine: Bottom end is completely rebuilt and in nice working order. Cylinder bored by Penton Racing Products and sports a new piston. The engine is strong and makes great power. Motoplat works well and will support lights. Original fiberglass tank has been refinished and is solid. Seat pan and foam are good – new cover. All misc rubber parts (air boot. lines. grips. bumpers. etc. ) are new. plus new chain. filter. cables. etc. Airbox had prior JB weld spot repairs – no functional issues Fresh wheel bearings and brakes are in good shape. Front Radelli rim is solid but does have one area of pitting in the chrome. Spoke nipples have surface rust. Original Magura brake and clutch levers and original Magura throttle assembly. Also original choke lever and cable. Suspension: Original shocks with good dampening. but pitting on the shafts. Forks were dissembled. cleaned. seals replaced. and work as they should. *There are some pits on the fork uppers (see photos). Pipe works well but does have some rough areas. Keep it original or get a trick replacement from Circle F. Bing carb works as it should. I rolled this bike out after rebuild and it fired right up on the 3rd kick. It rode around nicely and shifted through all the gears perfectly. This is all the time the engine has had since rebuild. This bike is a nice collector but also an excellent weapon for AHRMA racing – 125 classic class. cross country small bore class. and a stylish ride for ISDT Reunion Rides. If you’re a racer. I can haul this bike to Diamond Don’s this April for pick-up. Look the photos over closely and feel free to call with any questions 979. Two hundred fifty-one 26 ninety8. I’m happy to send along more photos. If you have any history or condition questions. don't hesitate to call or email. Before sending the fiberglass tank out for refurbishment. I filled it with gas – no leaks. petcock threads are good. In the meantime. I mounted an old-school alloy tank on the bike and ran it that way (see photo – alloy tank does not sell with bike!). I decided to not put fuel back in the fiberglass tank (for shipping ease). Buyers are responsible for arranging and paying for shipment. Bill of Sale provided. no title. Local buyers are welcome to come by and check out the bike. If you are still reading this. then realize that this bike is 42 years old. It is a vintage motorbike. which requires a certain sense of humor and patience to own and ride. If you’d like something trouble-free. I suggest a modern plastic ride is the way to go. No reserve. happy bidding!
