FULL LAEGER CRF450 MX QUAD - COMPLETE LEAGER CHASSIS, PROTRAX ETC QUADCROSS

Welcome to my listing for the love of my Quadcross life. So sad to have to let this beast go. but after a long history of non-racing related injuries I just cant build fitness to get back on her.

This is one of the very very few hand built Full Leagers made by Mark himself to the highest standard. Anyone who knows me (Mike Taylor) will know that I’ve always had my stuff about right. well maintained by a professional engineer and top spec.

This special quad. as most with knowledge of them will know. handles and jumps like a dream. The whole chassis is purpose built for Ultimate performance as with all Leager parts past and present.

The bike is in good used condition. it hasn’t been ridden in anger for 4 years. been kept well oiled in storage and started periodically. As far as im aware its in ready to race condition. it might want a little bit of cosmetic tarting up depending on how you like to have your race quad prepped. some new graphics and a seat cover would be a treat for her.

The engine is a CRF450 2004 motor (a very good year for crfs in terms of power output). it has been worked on a little to promote mid range grunt and loves to be short shifted. such traction it will pull away from even todays production 450 quads. I had it rebuilt completely at Kennedy Motors and still have all receipts. only raced twice since that time again due to my injuries.

It’s the Complete Leager setup throughout. as you can see in pictures. the whole shooting match with Protrax front end and all long travel a-arms. swingarm etc etc

PEP fully adjustable suspension units all round. best available. serviced 6 months prior to storage. no leaks while sat in workshop over the time standing.

The exhaust system has been custom modified to suit the light engine work and let it breathe while only making a low DB output. this is achieved by two inline mufflers rather than a restrictive DB killer. Shouldn’t have any noise test problems with this quad.  

The bike comes with some spares (ring for details) and spare wheels/tyres. some new etc.
