VELOCETTE MAC 350 1957

An imminent house move means that I have to sell some of my classic British motorcycles. hence a very low starting price for a very good machine.

Found in a rather neglected condition but essentially all there. it was acquired by me over 25years ago. Since then it has always been stored in a dehumidified workshop. Nothing was done until 2010 when a full strip and renovation was undertaken following which less than 100 miles have been covered as I have been using my other machines.

Work done includes a rebore with new valves. guides and springs. ( Big end was OK. )

Magneto and dynamo overhaul and a DVR regulator fitted within the old regulator box. New wiring harness.

Gearbox and clutch attended to but were basically  sound. Venhill lined control cables.

Wheels rebuilt - new chrome rims. new tyres. New strengthend rear hub/brake plate. nbsp; sprockets and chain.

All chrome parts are excellent. Some stainless items such as exhaust clamps and most cycle fasteners.

Full respray.

I have just realised that the nearside photo which was taken last year is misleading in that the dynamo belt cover is now fitted. as is the dummy battery box. and the wiring is all tidied up.

The speedo is a modern replica. but the buyer may choose one of my genuine (probably non functioning) chronometrics.

Receipts for over ?3000  (excluding the original purchase) and this is all for parts  excepting the wheel  building and rebore.
