Description

Hello all and thanks for looking at my auction.

I have for sale here a Akuma 110 pit bike in very used condition.   Bought in 04/2013 I had plans to get off-road and do a bit of motocross but for various reasons. two years later I've never taken it out.   Doesn't seem likely now that I will so I am seeing if anyone else wants to have a go or change there current machine so it is going up for sale with my other pit bike. a SuperStomp 140 which is on a separate auction.

I was originally looking for a road going 125 but as they are learner legal machines they were very expensive for old used machines and you could get a brand new pit bike for less money.   I found the SuperStomp 140 and it looked a really good machine so I got one and had it delivered.   For a fee they would build it but I wanted to do it myself and it wasn't too bad.   I then came across this Akuma 110 and thought it would be a good idea to get a used one to start with that had already been beaten around a bit and it didn't matter if I scratched it up a bit so got this after the Stomp.

Neither have been out of my garage for more than about an hour in two years and this would have been only for a check over and run for a few minutes and maybe a nip down the drive.

Generally the pit bike is in ok condition but there are a few things that would need looking at before taking it for any kind of abuse.   Bearing in mind that it has been sitting in my garage for a while. it started off when I bought it in very used condition and cold garages sometimes tend to draw damp onto cold metal and I have noticed some rust on the bike.   It still needs a good clean from when I bought it and here is a list of known problems I have noticed.

Headstock is either just loose or needs new bearings as there is a bit of movement. noticeable when braking or bouncing the front suspension.   Exhaust pipe is definitely leaking from somewhere. maybe about half way up as you can see the fumes coming out around that area.   This maybe is effecting the ticking over as its not exactly smooth.   I've not done anything with it so it could need oil change. spark plug. air screw adjustment or all of these or even something else. I don't know but can't imagine it's anything major.   When I started it this afternoon it went after about the fourth kick I think which I didn't think was bad since I've not ran it since the summer.   Brakes seem ok. maybe bleeding the front or some new fluid might help the slight sponginess.   Front tyre looks good. rear is a bit worn down the middle.   Clutch cable is stiff and probably needs lubricating.   Back brake seems strong with a two pot caliper.   Not checked the chain but didn't notice any issues. I'll have a quick check when I'm back in the garage.   Has a Lifan engine. don't know anything about them apart from seen them on lots of pit bikes.   One noticeable crack in rear bodywork and I think I saw a minor repair on one of the yellow sides.   This one has a key as well.   Cant think of anything else but if you think of anything please send me a message.

I am in Redruth. Cornwall and I welcome and recommend a viewing so if your interested then please message me through ebay.   If you want to make an offer and have it delivered that's fine but if you don't view it beforehand then I'm afraid it is sold as seen.   I don't want to be messed about so recommend looking first and making your decision on what you see.
