Moto Rumi Bol D'Or Replica - Unique, and award winning.

I've decided to sell my Moto Rumi Bol D'or replica.

If you're active in the UK Moto Rumi scene you may well have seen this bike at various shows.

It's a nut & bolt build. using a 1960 Formichino as the donor bike.

A few points about this scooter:

- It has genuine Bol D'or handlebars fitted. to which I've added genuine Rumi levers (which is not technically true to the Bol D'Or. but they looks nicer in my opinion).

- It has genuine Rumi carburettors

- Extensive work was done when I rebuilt the engine. including having the cylinders resized and nicasil plated by Stan Stevens & brand new pistons.  

- I also had the crank rebuilt.

- The bike has a Power Dynamo Generator & ignition

- It also has an EXACT replica Bol D'Or seat pan.

- MOT till April 2015

- Currently on SORN

The not-so-good bits 

In the interests of being completely transparent. I also want to list the bits that aren't perfect about this scooter

- Firstly. it currently doesn't run. Don't know why. Definitely fixable. but I am therefore selling it as a non-runner.

- Secondly. there are two chips to the pain on the headlight rim. as shown in photo 7.

- And finally. the seat has a very small scuff to the cover.

I think that's about it. Many of you looking at this advert will already have seen this bike - but for those who haven't. you're welcome to come and have a look before the auction ends.

Sorry for the two almost-identical descriptions above. I needed to update it to add a 't' the word paint. and delete the note about the scuff mark on the seat: there isn't one.
