Here are notes from my Monark Pro that went through it for me. Engine 7109520 Frame 3591 Fenders perfect Rear fender still has original warranty disclaimer intact Petty headlight is not original Sachs rear hub and akront original Frt hub appears to be husky. possibly not original. Frame perfect Exhaust and silencer original and perfect. need paint . no rust Bars - original with rust Controls original need polished 300 21 trelloborg 350 18 metzler Cables including hard to find rear operable Rubber side panels on tank nice small tear This bike appears to be a victim of long time setting up. I would suspect few miles. The engine rotates smooth and fires up and runs nice. No rattles or slap. The top end is in good shape and was inspected. I would recommend this bike as a restoration candidate. I did ride the unit and it runs like any Sachs 6b engine should. It does need one left side number plate. tires. petcock. lots of polishing and a repaint to be very nice. The seat is pliable and could use a cover if the rest were done. It shifts smooth all six gears. the compression is at a minimum 125 though no gauge was used. Ring end gap was in tolerance with no scuffing to cylinder or piston. Great bike. For competition I would recommend 2 crank seals. 2 tires. fork seals. pair of shocks. It is like any bike which has set up for a long period. Expect rubber to be deteriorated. When ridden no signs of crank seal leak were evident. it did not idle bad or return to idle slow which would indicate leakage. Still replace. The Motoplat has strong spark but shows signs of corrosion. I have this bike advertised in other places and reserve the right to end the auction early.
