Sears Allstate twingle 175 Puch SV175 two stroke classic

1966 Sears Allstate 175 known as a "twingle" due to the unusual 2-stroke engine that features a twin piston configuration within a single cylinder. Made by Austrian motorcycle company Puch, hese bikes were re-badged as an Allstate for sale by Sears.
Bike runs and drives very well, nd gearbox changes smoothly through all four gears. Top end of motor has been overhauled and refreshed, ew piston ring and gaskets fitted, arb and all electrics overhauled. Brand new battery fitted. All lights and indicators work perfectly.

This is a very light, imple bike and is a blast to ride. Parts are readily available but complete, unning bikes are rare. There is plenty of pitted chrome and cosmetic surface rust..or patina, f you prefer....on many surfaces but nothing serious, ith a little powdercoating or painting this bike could be as good as new, heck pics for reference. The kickstarter stop adjustment casting on the clutch cover has broken and patched, nd fabricate stop has been fitted. Could use new control cables, he originals work fine but need will need replacing as they are worn, nd the carb is a non-original that has been adapted and would benefit with replacing the somewhat crude adaption by a previous owner even though it works well enough, 4 mm carbs are plentiful. Includes a photocopied service manual.
