Description

I am selling my 2008 Southern Motorcycle Works (SMW) Godfather Pro Street Chopper. I estimated the mileage at 8,000 and that may be high. I never take this bike far. It has no speedometer/odometer so there is no way to tell. It has an Ultima 127 inch motor, ltima open primary and Ultima 6-speed transmission. The trans shifts smoother than any of my Harleys but I guess that's not a high hurdle. The motor has a 4.25" bore and 4.5" stroke with 10.2:1 compression. It is rated at 140 HP and 135 lb or torque. It has roller rockers and a .640" lift cam. I have compression release buttons on each cylinder so it is very easy to start.SMW sells these bikes as complete kits with alot of options. This one has a 300 mm rear Venom tire in great shape, &S Super G carb, ustom SMW polished wheels, aisy Cutter LAF pipes, 3" strutless rear fender, nd a custom seat from Bitchin Stitchin in Denver. This bike is fast and loud. It is difficult to ride with the long rake and drag bars but when you get used to it, t is fun. Unlike a stock bike that maneuvers with a light touch, ou have to bully this bike into corners. There are two blemishes in the paint, ne on the tank from the right handlebar control and one on the rear fender from my boot. There is a small oil leak. I think its an external oil line but I haven't figured it out yet. For more information on these bikes, oogle the SMW Godfather model and you can see plenty of pictures and specs. SMW still sells bikes but not this model. The joy of this bike is its simplicity. The electric system consists of 6 wires and the ignition. It has never given me trouble and never left me stranded. You do have to do a monthly check of nuts and bolts as things do come loose. This entire bike is assembled with allen head fasteners so your toolbox is light. I am getting too old and enjoy my baggers too much so this one has to go. I had my fun. Now it's your turn. You will draw a crowd everywhere you park this. And your neighbors will know when you are coming or going. No joy rides. I will run this for you and take it up and down the street. Cash transaction only. I have the clean title in hand.
