velosolex, a great running bike and winter project.

This is a S3800 velosolex that has just returned to this country from France. It's a 1960s model but I'm not sure what year exactly. I'm sure somebody will be able to work it out from the serial number. It starts and runs. but could do with an expert mechanic to tune it up to get the best out of it as its lacking a little bit of power. I haven't put fresh fuel in it but that's all it possibly needs as it's been stood for at least 6 months before I started it today. I was surprised how easily it started from cold and I rode around the street.

It comes with panniers and a spare front tyre. which cost £35 apparently but the one on the bike is in good condition but I'm still throwing it in with the sale.  . The chrome work is in fair condition considering the bike is over 50 years old. This will make a great winter project for someone wanting a running bike that needs a bit of tinkering to make it a great bike. Apparently it's easy to register these vintage bikes with the DVLA.
