2003 BSU motocross sidecar outfit, sidecarcross bike, kawasaki kx500 2 stroke

2003 BSU Motocross sidecar with Kawasaki KX500 2 stroke engine (not sure of the year on the engine so please use the engine numbers pictures to confirm but it does have KIPS which is on the later type motors). The bike is a purpose built sidecar and has Reiger Technoflex shocks all round.

 I bought this bike with the intention of doing Weston beach race on it in 2010 with my girlfriend but as of yet we have done nothing about it so the bike is up for sale. My usual sport is motocross so I am completely unfamiliar with the sidecar side of things. it always started well. I replaced the clutch basket with a near new one and replaced the clutch plates with new ones. all the gears worked fine but the brakes were both poor. the rear brake just about stops the bike and the disc has wore the pad pin a bit so somethings not right and the front brake is low on power. i'm guessing it could do with bleeding. The kickstart ratchet started slipping intermittently so I have bought the parts you will need to repair it. I just haven't got the time to do it. Also the tyres have gone soft where they have been sitting.

 To some up the main parts of the bike are good but it could do with someone showing it a small bit of TLC to make a competitive outfit.
