VINCENT RAPIDE 1952 Model

For Sale By Vincent Motorcycles Ltd EnglandThis Immaculate restored 1952  Vincent series C Rapide. Just come in last wk from its long term VOC Owners club Member. This Vincent has all matching frame and engine numbers and still has its original UK registration number SFC176 transferable. We also have with this bike all documents inc V5 registration document / old style original brown log book and Certificate of Authenticity 100% genuine Vincent just as it left the factory. First registered 7th Feb 1952 to a Mr Neville john franks from Biacester  Oxon and has still only had 3 owners from new. showing just over 15. 900 m on the clock and only 385 miles from full rebuild. this will increase as we us the bike. We have just put this Vincent through our workshops for a full service and check over Inc new battery /plugs / oils and filter etc. This is one of the most original correct Vincent motorcycles we have had in for a long time. and only became for sale due to the ill health of the last owner not being able to use it anymore. This Vincent runs and rides really really well with a very sweet engine / gearbox etc. This Bike has been fitted possibly from new with Genuine shadow 150 mph speedo / shadow ribbed drums front and back with shadow 10 bolt back hub. Also has Amal Mk1 Consentric Carbs fitted for smoother running and easy starting etc. We also have the original Amal 276 1 1/16in clip fitting Carbs with separate float Chambers to go with the bike to the new owner. This Vincent has all original parts. inc miller lights / with correct miller amp meter and 4 position switch / miller D6 50w  6V dynamo and regulater / Lucas fully rebuilt KVF magneto and rear brake light switch as per factory spec etc. I took this Vincent out yesterday for a good  ride and it was excellent. runs / rides and stops really well and is oil tight just as Phil Irving IntendedAs most people Know good genuine Vincent Motorcycles are becoming very hard to find and increasing in value every year.
