Description

On offer is my Panther M100/120 project. I am reluctantly selling due to unfortunate personal circumstances. The bike is not as it first appears! I have been constructing this to look like an 'old nail' motorcycle. as I love the look but it wouldn't take much to restore it to original condition. all parts available from the mighty Panther owners club if you wanted to go down that road. What a club!Panthers are the coolest classics around with a beautiful elegant looking 'Sloper' engine. If you are interested in this you probably know a fair bit about them already. but just in case:This Panther is a typical bitsa as many were. due to the interchangeability of parts over many years. The frame is from a 1964 M120 no: 29025 and the engine is a 1953 model 100 600cc 53M643B. The M100 600cc is generally thought to be the superior engine to the 650cc M120. They are tough simple motorcycles originally built for hauling sidecars. There are legends about the impressive single cylinder engines. firing at every lamp post. ankle breaking kickback etc. most of which are mythsMuch work has been done on the engine. gearbox and frame with many new parts:Engine: The engine has the sought after single port headExhaust port threads are in good condition and a bronze custom exhaust rose has been made.  Custom exhaust pipe with angled end for hi level silencer.
