Peugeot is a famous pioneer of the motorcycle and car industries. which company is still in business from the moment that they started manufacturing motor-vehicles in the year 1899. This rare Peugeot P52 twin port engined sport-model has never been restored and is loaded with many nice and original details (see pic?ˆ™s). like the original lion?ˆ™s-head* that is after all the years still present on the front fender (*=Peugeot logo). the original brass dealer plate and original Peugeot fin-tailed mufflers. Also the original 1939 frame-id. plate is still on and like should both the frame- and engine numbers are matching!

Personally I regard the condition where it is in not as something really disturbing. machines from this era and in this condition are getting much harder to find and now command prices higher than nicely restored equivalents. but then of course there?ˆ™s always the choice of giving this machine a second life by restoring it.  

 I did not make any attempts to get it running. it has been unused for MANY decades. but think it won?ˆ™t take very much to get it going again. as the engine has great compression and everything is in place. This bike has never been road-registered and comes an official bill of sale from my company here in Belgium. an official European Certificate of Origin which states the make. displacement.
