Really cool Malaguti Scooter. This is the F15 which has the 49cc. water-cooled. two stroke engine. It only has 260 miles on it. so it is a very low mileage bike. This is super rare as it is the Ben Bostrom Limited version of the F15 Firefox. Created in Ben's honor as he raced for Ducati in the 2002 World Superbike Championship. Thus the striking red. white. and blue paint and body panels. This thing is amazingly quick for a 49cc scooter. It gets out of the hole quick and will top out at 45-50 mph on the top end. It handles really well too. It has Italian Grimeca disc brakes front and rear. The suspension works well in conjunction with the brakes. It has a great under seat storage area too if you want to run up to the store for a twelve pack or haul some parts back from the swap meet vendor. It's also great to run surface streets for errands. The electric start works great and so does the kick start(you won't need it if you keep the battery juiced up though) I put a brand new Dellorto carb on it with a cone style air filter so it has great pickup and breathes freely(I left the stock air filter system on the left side intact as it does look cool)The bike has dual projector beam headlights. All the electrics function as they should; horn. blinkers. headlights. tailights. stoplights. etc. Check out video below. It gives a walkaround of the bike and also a start up and rev up. The horn button cover is missing(but the horn still works fine) and the rear tire has some dry rot but overall. this is a great running. great looking scooter. I do NOT have a title. but I do have the original Certificate of Origin which is all they issue in the States for a bike with this little of engine displacement. You cannot get a tag for it. but in Georgia you don't need one. You don't need insurance for it either. Please email me before bidding if you are new to Ebay. have less than 5 transactions. or excessive negative feedback. If you'd like to see the bike in person. we can arrange that. I will answer all questions promptly via email.
