Gilera 1965 124 FL Sport Special Strada (SS)

1965 Gilera 124 FL Sport editionOnly matching numbers bike with only 109 original miles. Had voltage regulator issue and went into storage. Just some surface oxidation. minor dings and scratches from being in a garage. I tried to capture the condition in the photos so you know exact condition of the bike. Have not cleaned or done anything to enhance appearance. True representation of condition. Motor has great compression spins like silk. wheels etc. all great shape. This is the special edition 124 with unique chrome tank and fenders. Motor is factor polished with beautiful castings. Not at all like the less expensive models sold by Sears. Sport Tach and Speedo. Headlight has a blank where standard speedo was installed. Have a seat from a Sears 124 that fits and will come with the bike but needs recovering. Reproduction sport seat is available from Italy (not same as Sears Sport 124) much prettier and higher quality. Has special light weight alloy wheels and original Pirelli tyres. Have tail light lens. dipper switch. voltage regulator. and spare wiring harness. All spares come with the bike. Easy winter project for next years Moto Giro USA series.
