Hanglong 50cc Scooter

You are bidding on a 49cc Hanglong Chinese scooter model no LB50QT-35.

I purchased this scooter for my son in September 2013 for his 5 mile commute to college and back. I picked this scooter for him as it is larger than the average 50cc model having the same frame size as the 125 version @1. 9 metres in length. This gives a bit more presence on the road and in my mind makes riding in traffic a bit safer.

He passed his car test this week so the scooter is no longer required.

Ownership has been very uneventful during the past year and the scooter has been very reliable. There is plenty of underseat storage and also a front storage area.

The scooter is not yet 3 years old and will not require an MOT until 19/1/15.

V5. Certificate of conformity. owners manual and 2keys are present.

Servicing and parts: I fitted a new battery last winter  and changed the oil and spark plug this summer.

Tyres:  Front 5mm   Rear 3mm

Mileage: 4342miles

General condition: As you can see from the photos the bike looks good. owever there are some scuffs and scrapes . the vast majority were on the bike when I purchased it. My son did drop it on some ice in the college car park last winter resulting in the front brake lever losing it's end. The previous owner has also had a crack in the front fairing repaired and repainted.

The lights. brakes etc all work as they should. The bike has an electric start and also a kick start as back up.

I am not asking a lot of money for the scooter as I want to sell it ASAP so please don't bid if you want an immaculate scooter. It will however make a great cheap commuter or first transport for a 16year old.

Parts: There are plenty of parts on Ebay and also from www. chinesemotorcyclepartsonline. co. uk
