1967 Gilera 106

In 1967 theses bikes were sold by Sears here in the US. This bike has clocked only 9399 miles! It is in very good condition considering it is 47 years old! I haven't ridden her in 2 years.  and yet she she started on the second kick. when I got her out for todays photo shoot. The tires are 2 years old. the originals were terribly dry rotted.  Everything else. I believe is original. There is a small area of rust on the exhaust. there is 1 tank emblem missing and the seat is showing its age (see photos). otherwise she is rather clean. I bought her 4 years ago from an older gentleman who said he had not ridden it in many years. ( The last inspection sticker. which is still on the fork is from 1971). I had the carb dissassembled and cleaned and she ran like a champ! I used it around town for 2 summers. she barely used a tank of gas all summer.  I bet it gets  close to 100 mi.  per gallon. I did not ride this bike last summer. or the summer before. I guess my other bigger scooters interest me more. so I would like to find this one a new home. There is no reserve. I will require a $250 deposit within 24 hours of the auction close. Thanks for looking.
