Henderson Deluxe

   This is a 1924 Henderson Deluxe. The bike is mostly original with an older repaint on it. After I bought it we opened the motor and the motor and trans looked good. I put 200+ miles on it. The magneto. generator and carb are all rebuilt. The cylinders are Ricardos. The cases are good and no known cracks or welding. The trans had a hole in the top and has JB weld in it. It has reverse. The only repo parts on the bike are the gen belt guard and I had the handlebars rebuilt by Tom Faber. The tank is in good condition. I sealed it. the petcock is incorrect. The wheels are 18?ˆ? clinchers and one hub has ball bearings and the other has Timkin bearings. All bearings including neck are new. The former owner. owned the  bike from 1955 until he died in 2004.  

 The motor vin# is K3393. the casting on the trans is 6 22 28 and the vin# behind the timing cover is D3393. This gives credibility to the story that the cases had been changed at some time. I was at Mark Hill?ˆ™s and he identified the frame as a 1924.

   I rode the bike for 200+ miles and it was fast and went down the road straight. The bike needs to be either gone thru well or restored. This is not being sold as a bike ready to ride.
