1913 SHAW motorbike rare antique motorcycle

 RARE1913 SHAW MOTORBIKE is semi restored. engine has been rebuild with new crank pins and bushings wrist pin & bushings valves reground and seeded and new piston rings starts very easy runs very strong plenty of power. I have a modern carburetor on it makes the engine run smooth easy to ride. I have the original carburetor that will go with the bike. and it's a lunkenheimer.  I have the timeing cover for the engine you will see it in the video and I have a shaw head badge & shaw gas tank sticker. nbsp; these bikes came with 28"wooden wheels this has been updated with 28" steel wheels for safety because this is a rideable motorbike. And has a modern battery for reliability. Its a period frame by BSA 1911. so it's a English style bike. and carbide headlight & the rims. nbsp; Shaw Manufacturing Company of Galesburg. USA was a successful manufacturer of light auxiliary engines in the early days of the 20th century. From 1905 he offered engine kits for bicycles and complete motorized bicycles. like the one shown above (the construction was ready in 1903 and some engines could be sold before 1905. but it was in 1905 when engine was patented and mass production started). From 1905 to 1917 about 13. 00 of them were made.
