Henderson 4 Cyclinder Motor 1923 , Barn find , very nice condition

      For sale is a Henderson Four Engine .    As for year. I'm not sure. but I have inquired from other owners and they suggest 1923 or earlier.  It was found in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  In a very remote area . but not so hard to understand . as its only a few hundred miles north of where these machines were made.  It appears it was used to power some sort of machinery. maybe a saw.         I'm not an expert on these and if you can shed any light please do.  But the engine appears to be in very good condition. No broken fins on the motor . all valve gear in tack . comes with Carb and Magneto.  The engine turns freely and the crank case still has oil in it.  The engine is mounted on a sturdy steel stand. Looks like it could be fired up and run. but I have not started it and can't guarantee what it looks like inside. Does seem sound though.  Its missing the Mag cover . and there is no transmission.  Not often you find an engine this old that seems to show so little wear or such an undamaged condition.  Good luck bidding . low reserve . but its going to the end of the auction as I have no idea what its worth. I prefer it be picked up locally in Mission Viejo Ca. 92692 . ut if you wish I will crate and ship it to anywhere in the lower 48 States .
