For Sale is my 2012 Royal Enfield Bullet Electra 500 EFIOver all good condition. some wear and tear from its use as a commuter. Fitted with a Power Commander and accompanying K&N air filter and full English made exhaust system from Hitchcocks. This combination has given a noticeable increase in power. and sounds much more like a traditional British single. Mechanically the rest of the bikes systems are in good order. The engine is fairly noisy and vibey but no more then other Enfield EFI units. the engine pulls well in all gears. Battery was replace early in the bikes life to a sealed gel type. the bike will nearly always start from cold on the second kick or first attempt with the electric starter. All of the other electrical items are working. including an upgraded H4 main and dim headlamp bulb. LED parking lamps and new alloy housed indicators. Lycette style classic sprung solo seat and fixtures fitted. also from Hitchocks. for a row of springs covered with vinyl it is surprisingly comfortable. This has been fitted with lower springs. the original four inch springs will be supplied with the bike. To accompany this the heavy. somewhat unsightly original rear mudguard carrier and mudguard have been changed to a light weight scrambler style combination. again sourced from Hitchcocks UK. The rear mudguard is in raw alloy. but has lost its polish. this could easily be bought back to its mirror shine with a bit of elbow grease. Also fitted from Hitchcocks is a small fly screen. at higher speeds this does work to deflect some wind blast above the rider but is mostly just there for looks. Both tyres are in good condition have a good amount of tread remaining. rear is the original Avon Safety Mileage. Front changed about 1500 miles ago due to the original Avon Speed Master lacking feel and consistency. A few bad points:There is some surface rust and discolouration on the chrome on the two front mudguard supports and on the wheel rims. on the latter this can be mostly removed by polishing it out. The seat could really do with a new higher quality cover. these are not expensive and are simply clipped on over the frame. Overall this is a nice motorcycle that always draws attention and get lots of comments and questions regarding its age and the heritage of its marque. No reserve is on the price for the bike to encourage a quick sale. I would like to keep it but cant justify the garage space. If you are interested I would recommend contacting me to arrange a viewing. I am available most evenings and weekends. The Bike is currently in Muswell Hill. North London.
