1964 Royal Enfield 750 Interceptor Series 1
This bike has been completely rebuilt from wheel to wheel. This bike was a victim of the chopper age and fortunately the frame wasn't damaged in that process.
It has 600+ miles since being restored over a 10 year period The restoration is documented and can be viewed at Bobby Baum projects
Every nut, olt and thread has been restored and or replaced. The motor completely rebuilt with 40 over pistons. The clutch was just redone with new pads on the plates
This is not a perfect restoration as some license had been made with the non stock color and some chrome plating where desired. The carbs are new concentric for reliability and performance. The seat is recovered using the stock seat pan with foam cut to the size of the original. The wheel rims are new with SS spokes front and rear. The electrics have been upgraded to 12V with new stator and alternator for same. The bike will be serviced with new oils prior to shipping. It does mark its spot on the floor but she returns some great performance to make up for it. This bike passed a Provincial mechanical inspection in order to be licensed.
It has just been taken out of the winter storage and started second kick and returned with a loving sound of appreciation.
Retirement and space are the reason for this sale.
