Royal Enfield 500 Bullet Export

For sale is my Royal Enfield 500 Bullet Classic. Export. Bought this bike only a few months ago. wanted to accompany my wife to the lakes on her Harley. we had a great time. the bike never missed a beat. over the week we did over 350 miles. the big single sounds wonderful. These bikes were part of the British Motorcycling industry. when we were the envy of the world. The nostalgic sound of the British big single isn't lost. these are still today made in India on the same tooling used back in the 50's. They weren't designed for speed. they will cruise all day at 55/60 mph. they have a 4 speed box and are kick start only. Since buying the bike we have put on new heavy duty front mudguard stays. a new chrome tail fin and have wrapped the exhaust down pipe. not because it needed it. but because it helps give that classic look. The leather royal Enfield bags are available through Hitchcock. these are in excess of ??140. The engine bars again. came from Hitchcock. they give the bike a great look and a practical safety net. in case the bike is ever dropped. The bike has had a service. and a thorough check over. it fires into life usually after the first or second kick. The mileage may differ slightly as the bike is in use. Smiles for miles this bike is the business. We are now reducing our collection. we will be listing our James cadet. 125cc 1954 in the next couple of weeks. this has had a total strip down and rebuild. wheels respoked and turned into a pre 65 look a like. I have decided to keep and use my mz ts250/1 as my run around. again like the Enfield. I like the slightly nostalgic machine. not the new characterless modern bikes. This bike is by no means perfect. but its a very tidy respectable bike. no rust to mention. the wheels and bright work is in good clean condition. the bike is taxed but as the law now states. that will be coming off at the time of sale. viewing highly recommended. please ring. any questions will be answered via ebay or telephone.
