Stunning 1950 S8 Sunbeam

This is a great example of an S8. nearly everything has been bespoke made in stainless. nuts. fixings. clamps. linkages and more.   Stainless exhaust pipes. stainless handlebars. stainless spokes.   Quality alloy rims. larger front brake drum. Amal Concentric carb. 12volt conversion with a sealed battery.

 

I have just completed a full engine strip and rebuild.   Running on +30 pistons with new rings and honed bores. crank is perfect. head was rebuilt with new guides etc 1500 miles ago. Stewart engineering breather mod fitted.   The bike is currently filled with running in oil and will need to be changed after 500 miles.   Starts well (4th kick after rebuild)

 

I have owned this bike for just over four years and done around 2000 miles on it.   The bike has never let me down since I have owned it and has completed many VMCC runs.   A local dealer said to me that the bike looks better in the flesh than the pictures. Now looking to purchase a pre 30’s bike.

As always no warranty can be given with the bike but I wont let it go without making sure it is running ok.

If the bike sells I would like to complete the sale within 7days and will be asking for a non-returnable deposit of ?100 and final payment in cash.   The bike is being advertised elsewhere so I reserve the right to end the sale at anytime.
