This cracking little 1975 Suzuki TS185M Trail bike has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 9373 miles and has been in dry storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain its boyish good looks. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES. As you can see this bike is very nearly complete missing just the l/h mirror. indicators & sprocket cover. The bike has obviously stood a while so the battery is flat. Sadly the wheel rims are both dented as is the fuel tank. BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS. The bike is every bit as nice as it looks here. The wheels are clean with good hubs & brake plates. Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome. Tail light assy is good as are the headlight & hangers. Clocks look clean but the speedo obviously has issues!?. Fuel tank is squeaky clean inside. Carburetor is free sliding off the twist grip. Exhaust system is original & solid. Seat is in very good condition throughout. Shox are damping fine. The engine is cosmetically very clean. it turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great & has compression but we haven't run it up. The bike is currently unregistered. The registration process is reasonably uncomplicated.

We HAVE NOT got the certificate of title but we will provide proof that VAT & Duty is paid on the NOVA system.

REGISTRATION

1. You need to get the bike MOT’d.

2. You need to prove the year of manufacture in writing. Phone Suzuki UKs customer support on 0500 011959 (press opt 2 & opt 2 again) with the Model type. frame & engine Numbers. they will organize an application for a dating letter – there is a charge for this service.

3. You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on the chassis number.

4. Send all this paper work to the DVLA. who will charge you ?55 for the 1st registration & the current amount for the road tax.

5. The DVLA will send you your age related registration number.
