1981 Suzuki GS 550 T

Up for auction is a 1981 Suzuki GS550T. This is a No Reserve auction with a reasonable starting price. I have over $1. 00 in the bike. The bike was stored inside over 25 years ago by the previous owner when I purchased it. I installed a new rear tire and a new battery. I had the carbs re-built ($350. ) and the top end rebuilt ($380. ) The bike runs great and shifts as it should. No smoke or strange noises. It has a new rear tire. The front tire needs replacing due to age. Compression is about 120 on all 4 cylinders. It is stock and has the original exhaust system. The tank has a 1 inch dent on the left side. I have not attempted to pop it out. Used gas tanks for the bike in the same paint combo are available for around $100 ON EBAY. The fenders have some minor dings but no dents. The chrome is in good condition. Everything works on the bike. The original seat foam is good but the cover is cracked and needs replacing. The seat cover is available on ebay for around $80. I've only ridden it about 10 miles and it is a very smooth riding bike. It is a fun bike to ride. Parts for the bike are available on ebay.
