This very rare and much sought after 1973 Suzuki GT185K must stir some fantastic memories for a great many of you young old boys out there!. It has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life ?ˆ“ the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to machinery than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 10098 miles and has been in dry storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain its boyish good looks. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES. As you can see this bike is very nearly complete missing just the R/h mirror. Indicators & side stand spring. Sadly the kick starter doesn't seem to engage anything when depressed. BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS. The bike is every bit as nice as it looks here. The wheels are clean with good hubs & brake plates. Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome. Mudguards are both solid & reasonably tidy with minor defects. Tail light assy is good as are the headlight & hangers. Instruments & switches look ok. Fuel tank & side panels are faded but tank is squeaky clean inside and has just minor marks. dents & scratches in the original paint. Carburetors are free sliding off the twist grip. Exhaust system is original & solid. Seat base is in very good condition throughout. Chain guard is tidy. The engine is cosmetically very clean ?ˆ“ When we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it fresh fuel/oil it starts & runs. The bike is currently unregistered. The registration process is reasonably uncomplicated.

WE HAVE GOT THE ORIGINAL AMERICAN CERTIFICATE OF TITLE

We will provide proof that VAT & Duty are paid on the NOVA system.

REGISTRATION

1. You need to get the bike MOT?ˆ™d.

2. You need to prove the year of manufacture. The American Title will do this.

3. You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on the chassis number.

4. Send all this paper work to the DVLA. who will charge you £55 for the 1st registration & the current fee for the road tax.

5. The DVLA will send you a tax disc with your age related registration number.
