Suzuki bandit 1200 K2

Hello allI selling my beloved steed.  yes the Flying Wardrobe must go.  its been a very trusted friend. but its time for her to go to a new home. This is my first big bike after passing my test and the reasons for sale is because I've bought a GS and as much I want to keep her. I just can't justify the cost of running two bikes. So the bad bits:The previous owner had throw over material panniers that scratched the seat cowl. he was a paint sprayer by trade painted the seat cowl the wrong shade of blue. I know. I was thinking the same thing!I had quotes to get the mudguard. tank and seat cowl painted for £300. there is a tiny dink in the tank and a mark on the engine as think the previous owner dropped it on his drive. general wear and tare with a bike of the this age. It could really do with a good detail all over. I would do it but I just don't have the time as I'm preparing for a 6 month trip away and I'm very busy with my job. So Good points:Its very reliable. never failed me. MOT'd to August 2015 with no advisories. new chain and sprocket set fitted by Probike in Newbury. new plugs. K&N Air filter which I recently removed. cleaned. washed and re-oiled. have got all the parts for an oil change but haven't done it yet but will throw it all in. Michelin Pilots with a lot of life left in them. Puig bikini screen. Renthal handlebar and lots of receipts for everything me and the previous owner had bought for it. I also have a new set of front and back stands. the front stand has never been used. the rear stand has only been used 4 times. plus I have a spare seat cowl. if the price is right I'll put them into the sale too. All I can say is I'm really sad to sell this bike. complete strangers ask about it. kids wave at you. nbsp;Ferrari drivers are embarrassed by it! its a great fun bike. massive torque. massive smile factor that's easy on the pocket.  145 mph maximum speed. 0-60 mph in 3. 3 seconds. 0-100 mph in 7 seconds its scary fast for such a big bike. it will wheelie easily. there are no safety devices. not even ABS. you can shock the leather onesy clad racers on this thing. so much fun. No tyre kickers or test pilots required. you want to ride it then bring a pile of cash to cover the cost of the bike. your licence. photo ID. insurance documentation that covers you to ride the bike. I will need to ring your broker to clarify your entitled to ride the bike and if their not open your not riding it! Sorry to be tough but that's the way life is now. too many con artist out there. Any questions then please feel free to ask. the bike is just outside Basingstoke and I recommend a viewing. I'm only interested from hearing from sensible buyers. please don't contact me if you think you can pitch me low like they do on Wheeler Dealers or Gas Monkey Garage because your just wasting your time. The bike is advertised else where and I'm open to sensible offers as I'm looking for a quick sale. but if the price isn't right I'll just leave it in the garage until I'm back from the USA next year.
